Cottage, Ash wood

This Ash wood kitchen was fitted in the bottom of an L shaped space, flowing through to the formal dining room of an old Cornish cottage. Using a light wood for the units has given the 'farmhouse style' kitchen a contemporary feel.

The peninsula unit and butchers block have been designed to divide the two areas (and provide an informal 'breakfast bar' eating area) and the customer specification of 'somewhere to house enormous paella dishes' met with a special 'backless' drawer within a tall larder unit.
